1C. Cirrus (uncinus).
A cluster of ice crystals in the form of a hook or tuft forms the top of
the cloud. The larger ice crystals, having fallen below the tuft, are being
left behind. These clouds show what Cirrus floccus clouds might look like
an hour or so after they form.
