5C. Cumulus (congestus).
The center growing cloud is just large enough (about 2 km thick) to have
surpassed the mediocris stage. Slow churning motions can often be seen
at cloud top. The more motion, the stronger the updrafts and the more rapidly
such clouds can grow to become showers or thunderstorms.
