6A. Cumulonimbus (calvus).

Ice crystals and snowflakes have developed rapidly in the uppermost regions of this cloud causing it to begin appearing smooth and fibrous in place of the dense, hard cauliflower appearance it had a few minutes before. Rainshafts, if not already present, intensify during this transition period.
