IAS participated in NASA South Dakota Space Days on the SDMines campus October 1-2, 2009

Dr. Donna Kliche and graduate students Shawn Honomichl, Jonathan Meyer, and Phillip Stauffer, explain our research work with visiting students from area schools. Students were able to use special instruments to test the amount of heat radiating from different types of surfaces. They also looked at various images as they appeared from the orbiting LANDSAT satellite.
